Harman AJ Ltd is an independent software company registered in England and Wales. We design and build our own software: no agency work, no outsourcing, and nothing shipped unless we genuinely believe it is useful.
About us
Independent, focused, accountable.
Harman AJ Ltd exists to build software we genuinely believe to be useful. We are not a consultancy or an agency: every product we ship is one we own, support and answer for ourselves, from the first line of code onwards.
Focus is a deliberate choice. Every product gets the same close attention: the security of the infrastructure, the clarity of the interface, and the privacy of the people who trust us with their data. When something needs fixing, the people who built it fix it.
Our first product launched in 2026, and it is the start of a portfolio, not the whole of it. Everything we build follows the same pattern: useful first, careful with data by design, and improved steadily in response to how people actually use it.
How we work
Four principles we hold ourselves to.
Built in-house
Our software is designed, built and supported by us, not outsourced. Questions are answered by the people who wrote the code, so problems get fixed at the source.
Hosted in the EU
The products we host run on EU infrastructure, with credentials encrypted at rest and verified backups held off the production servers.
Security as routine
Vulnerability scanning and security testing are part of normal operations, done regularly rather than once before launch.
Portfolio
What we've built.
Sortfully
LiveSortfully organises Outlook and Microsoft 365 inboxes automatically. It files every message into a folder, or a coloured category, by the organisation that sent it, so mail groups itself by who is writing instead of piling up in arrival order.
It is built around a strict privacy guarantee: Sortfully never reads message bodies or attachments. By default it also waits until a message has been read before moving it, so nothing disappears before it has been seen.
